The Story:
As a part of the "Among the Wildflowers" Collection, these plique à jour enamel earrings are bright, cheerful, and a reminder to stay free.
Wildflowers symbolize happiness, a wild heart, and the ability to grow in all different environments.

In French, plique à jour translates to "letting in daylight." Once I saw out the design from a thick sheet of fine silver, I fill the open cells with transparent powdered glass (enamel) then fire the piece in the kiln. This creates a beautiful stained glass effect. These earrings glow with the sunlight creating a unique piece of wearable art.
